Dr. Glener was raised in coastal Florida and attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies. He then completed his graduate medical education at Duke University where he was admitted to Alpha-Omega-Alpha, a selective honor society. Dr. Glener continued at Duke University to complete his Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency, during which he was formally recognized for both teaching and academic achievements.
Following completion of his training, Dr. Glener went on to complete a prominent Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where he gained experience in cutting-edge breast, face, and body aesthetics.
Dr. Glener and his wife, who is from North Carolina, are excited to return to the state where they met. Dr. Glener enjoys exercise, sailing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his dog, Stella.

Your Review:I am a strong believer in first impressions. I hit the jackpot with Dr. Glener and his staff. He has quite the resume and I was fortunate to benefit from the latest in surgical technology. I was not comfortable baring my chest to any medical staff, but I quickly felt at ease. I am so pleased with my breast augmentation. I now match and have boob's that fit my frame. They listened to my concerns and I am so pleased with my results. I was fortunate my procedure could be performed at their surgical center and I was truly impressed. I have minimal incisions that no one will ever see and more confident with myself. He personally called to check on me the evening of my surgery. I am very happy and I am sure you will be too.

Dr Glener and all the staff were very informative before and after my procedure. I haven't experienced any pain whatsoever. I am absolutely amazed at how everything is healing more and more each day. I was giving detailed instructions before and after surgery as to what I could and could not do. Who to contact if I experienced any problems. When I left recovery to go home I was already talking plainly.
First things first..... Dr Glener is truly amazing, maybe even magical!!!From the first moment he walked into the room and looked directly at me with a big smile, I felt peace. I immediately relaxed; I was actually happy to be there sitting in his patient examining room. His gentle, quiet confidence and respectful focus on me, his patient, let me know I was important to him and he would take care of me.For me, that calmness I was feeling was critical .... I had breast cancer and I was scared.Never before had I realized there are so many details and doctors involved in dealing with breast cancer. It was a little overwhelming.As my plastic surgeon, Dr Glener's role was consequential. My fantastic surgeon removed the cancer, and Dr Glener determined how I would look after it was all done.I had an oncoplastic breast reduction, which is a lumpectomy to remove the cancerous tumor along with a reduction in both breasts. When my surgeon first suggested it to me, I was a little dubious, but I went home and researched it (googled 😂), and decided I would go that route since I had frequently contemplated a reduction anyway.I'm sooooo happy I did!!! I love how my breasts are now! Other doctors involved in this process, as well as my primary dr, have said it is one of the best reductions they've seen. My new, smaller breasts are perfectly symmetrical and balanced. Dr Glener did a phenomenal job and it wasn't easy because I was quite large! I don't know how else to say it ..... Dr Glener is really, really good!!!I'm thrilled!My post op pain has actually been minimal. Yes, I did have some pain, that's unavoidable, but Dr Glener is so skilled, that my recovery has been remarkably easy. I expected to be in a whole lot of pain ....I was admittedly pretty concerned about it beforehand. I shouldn't have been. I didn't even need to use the medication he gave me. Tylenol worked fine.Every single return visit to see Dr Glener has been terrific, as he has reassured me that I'm healing well ..... he is gentle, kind and supportive and listens to everything I have to say or ask. I feel enormous relief.You'll find yourself, as I have, wanting to hug him in overwhelming abject gratitude. 😊Don't worry .....his nurses are also super. They are kind and compassionate and really do care about your needs and feelings and actually listen to you. The whole "package" is pretty much perfect.
Dr Glener is an amazing Dr. In today world Dr's just want to get you in and out and don't listen to you. Not in Dr. General case he really cares for his patients take out the time to explain what he's going to do. I had squamous taken off my leg he took a photo of the device he put on to hold my skin together and while I was in recovering he came out to show my husband the photo and explain what it does and how I was doing. I'm a nervous person when it comes to uncertainty about what will happen. Not at all did I felt that he told me everything he was doing when he changed my bandage and especially when the device was removed along with the staples and stitches.I would give him a 100 for the review if I could.His staff is also excellent and caring. Highly recommend him.
I saw Dr. Glener for the first time two weeks ago. I was very nervous making the appointment to discuss a breast reduction surgery. Due to alot of back pain I decided it was time. From the moment I went to my appointment and met Dr. Glener I was completely at ease. He did not rush me and took time to explain everything and what I could expect. He is such a caring Dr. and I feel very fortunate to have had him perform my surgery He did a fantastic job and I wake. up every day feeling so happy I did this. I can finally find clothes that fit and not feel self conscious . If you are contemplating this surgery I say make an appointment with Dr. Glener and discuss your issues. He and his staff are beyond nice and caring and you will be happy you went in.
Dr. Glener is an amazing surgeon! I am incredibly pleased with the results of my breast lift and tummy tuck. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Glener was professional, informative, and attentive to my needs. He explained the process thoroughly, addressed all my concerns, and ensured I felt comfortable every step of the way. The night before my surgery, he called me to help me calm my nerves and answered last minute questions/concerns I had. I am very happy with my results and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Dr Glener is the absolute best plastic surgeon! My initial consult I went in prepared and did my research. I knew what I wanted and listened to the expert at what I needed. After working out and eating better I have maintained a weight loss of 130 lbs. Dr Glener performed a drainless-360 degrees Circular Tummy Tuck, Muscle Repair and Lipo to my outer thighs. His technique is spot on, but his bedside manner is truly amazing. Dr Glener always had time for my questions and concerns. He responded timely with communication with detailed responses. I highly recommend Dr Glener and love the body transformation he helped me achieve.
Choose Dr. Glener with confidence. After losing 125 lbs, I was left with an abundance of loose skin. Dr. Glener performed my second procedure, which was a "pseudogynecomastia excision and lateral thoracic excision", to address my chest, underarm, and sides of upper back area. Initially, I had planned for a full upper body lift, but in his thorough and informative pre-op, we decided together that we did not need to cut all the way across my back, as most of the excess was side to front. The procedure went very well, was relatively pain-free, and I am very happy with the results! I have received so many compliments about how much better I look, and no longer feel the need to wear loose clothing. Since this is my second procedure, I do have a basis for comparison, and Dr. Glener's results were a welcome relief after experiencing multiple complications with my first surgery. I experienced normal wound healing, an attentive doctor who welcomed calls/texts to address concerns, and an overall environment that put my mind at ease throughout the entire duration.Thank you Dr. Glener!
Dr. Glener is the absolute best plastic surgeon. He has done wonders to my forehead. I see him regularly for botox. I decided to see his MD only clinic after getting bruised by a clinic with estheticians. Dr. Glener takes great care to avoid my blood vessels and not bruise me. He also uses various different techniques to make sure I have the most comfortable experience. The wrinkles on my forehead are gone by the first or second day. Importantly, the muscle relaxation is symmetrical. I have never felt the need to return to get adjustments, although he made it clear that if I was dissatisfied I could return at any time. Dr. Glener is leaving the clinic soon and he will be very missed!
