Your WPS appointment is scheduled and reserved exclusively for you. Without adequate notice of cancellation or rescheduling requirements, Wilmington Plastic Surgery is unable to accommodate the scheduling needs of other WPS patients. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of our patients and provide continually exceptional service, Wilmington Plastic Surgery requires advanced notice in the event that you are unable to attend your appointment.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
The following cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show policy applies to all spa appointments. Appointments made with our doctors are not subject to cancellation or no-show fees.
To provide clarity to our patients, and reduce the volume of no-show incidents, we have implemented an updated cancellation policy. The policy reads as follows:
- Wilmington Plastic Surgery requires that our office receive notification of cancellations or rescheduling necessities 24 hours in advance of the established appointment.
- It is required that Monday appointments be canceled by 4 PM on the Thursday prior to the appointment, allowing our staff sufficient time to complete the rescheduling process and/or re-assign the appointment time to other WPS patients.
- Missing an appointment without contacting the Wilmington Plastic Surgery office within the established framework of the WPS cancellation policy will be considered a no-show and will result in a $50 no-show fee.
- Patients who do not attend or cancel their appointment within the required notice will be charged a $50 fee. The fee will be billed directly to the patient. It is due and payable as a balance to Wilmington Plastic Surgery. All such fees must be paid prior to the scheduling or fulfillment of any future appointments, and delinquent fees may be placed in collections.
Cancellation Policy
We will request a credit card upon booking. Should you need to cancel or reschedule services we kindly ask for a 24-hour notice. No-shows will be charged $50.
Late Policy
The time restrictions generated from lateness limit your provider’s ability to adequately provide treatment and can compromise the quality of care you receive. Additionally, lateness imposes delays on our remaining patients, whose schedules are equally important to our practice.
As the time and schedules of our patients and staff are very important to us at Wilmington Plastic Surgery, we have found it necessary to implement a Late Penalty.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. As such, a fifteen-minute grace period will be allowed in an effort to accommodate minor delays.
Patients who are unable to make it to their appointment within fifteen minutes of their scheduled time will not be seen. Patients who arrive past the allowed grace period will have their appointment marked as a no-show and be charged our $50 cancellation/no-show fee.
Failure to check in on time will result in a cancellation of the appointment. It will be the patient’s responsibility to pay the no-show fee and re-schedule the missed appointment in order to receive future treatments.
