What is Emsculpt®?
Paired with a healthy lifestyle, Emsculpt is a revolutionary new way to eliminate fat, build muscle, and help you achieve your ideal body shape. It works by using high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology that causes your body to quickly break down and dispose of unwanted fat cells.

HOW DOES EMSCULPT® WORK?
Emsculpt®’s innovative HIFEM technology works by causing the body’s muscles to rapidly contract and release. During the procedure, an Emsculpt paddle is placed on the area of focus and initiates a series of around 20,000 muscle contractions in just one 30-minute session.
Your muscles will react almost immediately by releasing chemicals that kill excess fat cells and cause them to be broken down and metabolized by the body. Not only does Emsculpt result in fat loss, but an increase in muscle mass as well.

What to expect during EMSCULPT® treatments
Each Emsculpt® session lasts for just 30 minutes. While most treatments can be completed in a total of four sessions, the team at Wilmington Plastic Surgery and Skin Care MedSpa will work with you to determine the number of sessions required to accomplish your desired results.
